SPECIALIST MEDICINE SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE
We are pleased to now offer a dedicated medicine service from our Sylvia Park hospital. The first service of its type in the south and eastern parts of Auckland, we are providing specialist medicine services in the following areas:
- Cardiology
- Oncology
- Endocrinology
- Gastroenterology
- Nephrology
- Neurology
Our goal is to provide these services as an extension to all primary veterinarians and make it easier for their patients and pet owners to get personalised specialists care whenever they need.
Comprehensive in-house service
In the past, we’ve had to transfer some cases to another site with a specialist medicine facility. Not anymore. With our new medicine service, patients can now get all the specialist care they need in one spot including surgery, imaging, physiotherapy, dermatology and now medicine.
Specialist collaboration
Often, if you get the wrong information, you can give bad advice. Having a medicine specialist at our Sylvia Park hospital allows better collaboration between services for those complex cases that need the input of more than one specialist.
