I graduated from Unitec in 1997 with a Certificate of Vet Nursing.

My first role at VSA was in the Imaging Department of our Mt Albert hospital in 2001 and now I am the Head Imaging Nurse there.

I had always wanted to work in a ‘super clinic’ – a beautiful, stand alone referral hospital where Imaging, Surgery and Internal Medicine services worked harmoniously together under the same roof, providing exceptional veterinary care for the greater Auckland area. Our Mt Albert hospital was that dream and six months after it opened in 2001, I was working in my favourite room, the Radiology Suite.

Even after all this time in Radiology, taking a perfect radiographic series still makes my heart happy. I’m also a sucker for an elderly owner with a sharp tongue or a good yarn.
