DEVON THOMPSON

Position: Imaging Specialist

Devon graduated from Massey University in Palmerston North with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Dist) and a Master of Veterinary Science (Hons). After working in general practice for 2.5 years, she completed a 3 year radiology residency program which was split between Massey University and Perth Veterinary Specialists. In 2013 she passed the European board exams to become a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (Dip ECVDI) and a registered Specialist in Veterinary Radiology. She has been with the Veterinary Specialist Aotearoa team since June 2015.  Outside of work Devon volunteers for multiple charity groups on the Hibiscus Coast and enjoys a good gin. She has one gorgeous Abyssinian cat called Violet Truffle.
