DR KYLE CLARK

Position: Registered Specialist Small Animal Surgery 

 

Kyle graduated from Massey University with distinction in 2006.  In 2007, she completed the Zoetis Small Animal Internship at the Veterinary Specialist Group. 

In 2008, Kyle left New Zealand to pursue specialization in Small Animal Surgery.  She completed a second rotating internship in Prince Edward Island, Canada.  She went on to complete a 3-year residency in small animal surgery.  In addition to this, she completed a Master’s degree in gait analysis of dogs.  While in Canada, Kyle also had the opportunity to work with the wildlife patients, including snowy owls, bald eagles, and harbour seals.

Kyle became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2014 and returned to New Zealand.  For 2 years she worked as a lecturer and surgeon at Massey University before moving back to her hometown of Auckland. Kyle joined the team of surgeons at Veterinary Specialists Auckland in 2016 and brings her skills of minimally invasive surgery to the group.

Kyle enjoys all aspects of surgery but has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy.  Outside of work she enjoys yoga, wine tasting, hiking, and trips to the bach in the Coromandel.
